COMMUNITY EDUCATION AND HEALTH PROGRAM
This long term program at CCREAD-Cameroon has focused on community driven activities to promote access to basic health and educational services for marginalized children, women and indigenous people across the South West and Littoral Regions of Cameroon for the past 6 years .
The program runs the following specific projects;
- Provision of hygiene and sanitation services to community health centers and schools
- Building of local infrastructures for community health units and schools
- Training of Traditional Birth Attendants and supply of delivery kits to poor pregnant women
- Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission of HIV
- Feeding programs for community primary school children
- Donation of books and scholarships to orphans and vulnerable children
- Health On Call project
